Facebook may very soon start reading your mind

Facebook, who has left an impression on the social networking world, is working on developing a “brain-computer interface”, which may have the capability to allow users to talk to each other by way of mind reading.

Apparently, Facebook is secretly gathering a team of people that will make use of cutting edge neuroscience and electrical engineering to create the new interface.

CEO and co-founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg believes that telepathy is the technology of future and adverts lead us to believe that Facebook is working on that very thing.

Apparently, the recruitment ads have popped up on Facebook for their hardware division in California, which specializes in brain computer interface technology. According to the same listing, that team will work on Facebook’s most futuristic and secretive projects.

That engineer will work on “developing advanced [brain-computer interface] technologies”, which will involve using computers and artificial intelligence to work with “neuroimaging and electrophysiological data”, according to the ad and the same listing. Continue reading
